The New RoadHawk RIDE R+ Motorcycle Helmet Camera

Designed to be used by cyclists, motorcyclist, horse riders and other road users, in loop recording mode, the RoadHawk RIDE R+ is a black box recorder, gathering information of what happens on the road in case evidence is required.  When recording on a constant loop you will never need to worry about the memory card becoming full and using the optional hardwiring kit or extended battery pack, the system offers a minimum of 4 hours recording.

Switch to standard (non-loop) mode and turn off the time stamp and you have probably the most robust, discrete sports action camera on the market.

The additional RF remote control allows for greater flexibility when using the RoadHawk RIDE R+, not only allowing remote recording, but also the ability to take photographs.

The RoadHawk RIDE R+ is supplied with an 8GB SD Memory card that can hold around 90 minutes of 1080p HD video. Upgraded to a 32GB card extends the capacity to over 5 hours (subject to power)

We've made the RoadHawk RIDE R+ as simple as possible to operate. There is a single button on the camera to turn it on/off. If the camera is on then it is recording!

The built-in Li-Poly battery will record for between 60 and 90 minutes (dependent on battery usage & climate) and you can connect the camera to an external USB battery supply for longer record times or using the optional hard wire kit power it directly from your motorcycle / vehicle.

If you are using the RoadHawk RIDE R+ camera on a motorbike or in a car, the camera can be connected to the 6v - 12v power from the vehicle for indefinite record times. When the camera is connected to an external power supply it will automatically start recording when you turn the ignition on and stop when you turn the vehicle off.

The RoadHawk RIDE R+ is also fully software configurable, allowing you to adjust the settings for exposure, brightness and contrast, you can also turn off the loop record mode for the rides you don’t want recorded over, time is set through the software and can be displayed on the video or not and the video can be inverted for times when mounting the camera the right way up are not possible.
